tomato canning time

135 lbs of tomatos came out of the garden today, so they go into the canner tonight.....guess it will be a long night, but we will have plenty of pizza sauce this winter. :)

Got a good recipe for that pizza sauce?

Put up salsa last night (just 14 pints) & started spaghetti sauce. It was too hot and too late to finish the sauce. (over 100* in my kitchen at 9:00 pm) Cleaned up and will go again this morning.

Water bath is already heating up and sauce is warming up again. Paul brought home a lot of corn yesterday, so today will be cutting corn off the cob and processing that too.

I have such a love/hate relationship with the garden this time of the year! (I wouldn't have it any other way though)
