Well it's coming along, i just bought two used tires that are probably running 80% tread for $100 each. I pick them up late this week or early next. I still have wiring to do and some of the original harness needs to be replaced. Most is very decent so I'm leaving it. A minor problem keeping the new tach clear of fog. Guess it isn't very sealed? Oh well here's a couple of pics.

Ross, if you can run a 1/2 (or so) tube from the tach light fitting to the air cleaner the engine drawing air through the tach may dry it out.

Ross, not sure if that is an oil bath air cleaner or not but just make sure there is no chance of hot or oily fumes getting into the tacho.
