timing for fruit tree cuttings

    When is the best time to take cuttings of fruit trees? Plums, peaches, apples, and such?

    You mean cuttings for propagation, right?

    Yes. I would like to start some cuttings and eventually transplant them to my mountain property.

    I believe you want to do it while they are dormant. Here is a good web site. He wants to sell his book, but you can prob glean all the info you need from the web site.
