When looking into insurance for my house painting buisness, I found out I could get 1 Million Dollar general liability for about $600.00 per year.
I thought that was resonable!

But it got me thinking......... for my family I pay 600.00 plus a year for our auto insurance......then I have my mortgage insurance.........
then you have medical insurance.

Is it possible to get a all inclusive family type general liability plan?

You would be paying less moneys per a month for a 1 million dollar policy like available for my paint company, than what I pay in all the different policies paid seperately.

Do I make sense? And where could I fnd out more about this....I'm sure the insurance companys want the multiple policies to make more money, so I'm not sure they would give any information.

Trying to get info. from them may be like getting them to pay on a claim, If you know what I mean.

Anyway, Anybody have anything like this or is my thinking and/or logic in error?

I'm pretty sure you can get all of it together as an umbrella policy, with the exception of medical.

It's not unusual to have home, auto, liability etc all lumped together. Ask your agent.

I've got things divided up because my business is incorporated and "it" owns some of my stuff that is insured (although I own all the shares and therefore own the stuff). insurance can be complicated, but it can be simplified if you want it that way.
