According to this article, CBS is planning to start advertising on store eggs.

Why, just look at the potential there people! I probably sell 20 dozen eggs a month or so, so that's 240 advertising vehicles.

I'll probably have to hire an ad salesman for the first few weeks to get me started, but then I should be able to sit back and relax and let the ladies do all the work while the ad revenues pour in. All I have to do is sit there with my magic marker and do the ad copy.

Just to get started I think I'll advertise for work for one of my boys.

    "Manure shoveling, done cheep!"

Feel free to help CBS and me out with some advertising slogans.

Great idea for you Bare! I just turned to my husband and begged again for some chickens...I don't need/want to pay for their advertising junk on my eggs!

My eggs are lay dated with food quality dye. Just to show how fresh they are.

The article says people look at eggs many times. I never look at my eggs after I wash the dirty ones. But then I know they are fresh and which bum they came out of.

Gee whiz, you can't get away from freakin advertising! First thing in the morning, sleepy and blurry eyed "Get your Kaboom cleaner today! Call now!"

How about a winning egg every now and then.Like you when a free dozen.
    Or an hrs work.

Advertising slogan.Hum--From our chickens butt to your plate, in days not weeks.Farm fresh! :D

Seriously. A rubber stamp with your farms name would be neat.Assuming you could get water based ink that would be safe on the shell.
