I have been feeding a mix of COB, Boss and alfalfa pellets. The rabbits get free choice hay also. My fryers aren't growing as fast as they would on pellets. I am planning on feeding the fryers pellets, and feeding the rest of the rabbits my home made mixture. What do yall think?

These are huge pellets also. The are about as big around as my pinky finger and about an inch long.

If you have a scale, you can weigh your kits and tell where they are coming up short.
When I first started, we talked about feeding a home made organic mix and thought the best way to do it was to feed the does the pellets. That way they had the supplements that were in the pellets., hopefully insureing they would get pregnant and be able to produce milk. And then we would feed the fryers our organic mix.
Any way the best way to figure this out is with a scale. The bigger they are at weaning the faster they will make weight.
