We are thinking about getting sheep for grass control in our garden and orchard area. We have an area of good pasture, and the goats tend to only like the bramble and brush, but not the good grass. We have too much grass, fescue from the pasture that has grown up in the garden/orchard area. We are currently using raised beds so we do not have the largest area of the garden planted except with clover which has been overtaken by 3 ft. tall fescue! In other words, or garden is great pasture, but we don't know what to do besides continuely weed eat it, which is a lot of work. Would sheep take care of it, or would they eat the garden and fruit trees as well? Thanks for any information.
