    without going nuts.

Ok y'all, I am looking for a source for those thin bricks (the brick veneer). You would think that the big box stores would have them, but I swear if I spend another minute on the phone with home depot that I will drive up there and blow the place up. They don't know what they have or don't have or what the heck it's called.

Any sources you know have it? I only need to do about 30 sf.

Try a fireplace accessory store in a big town.

Some decorative rock and stone places also carry veneers. I've seen rock and brick veneers at the last place we were looking at.
If your local fireplace shop doesn't have it then they probably have a brocure of a place you could order it.

I am actually looking for the ones that would be about 2x8x.5inch so it looks like the brick on their side. I actually found that one, but it just looks like the holland pavers (which I have used for my base on my woodburner... they are about 4x8x2)

    Z-Brick = 21/4" x 8" x 7/16" thick

I doubt if you'll find any with closer dimensions.
