Be glad global warming isn't affecting your area like the west coast... :(

"90% of Californians are under flood watches as another storm threatens mudslides, power outages and deadly inundation

  • ‘A high-impact event’ Two bouts of major rainfall are expected to hammer the West Coast over the next few days – without much of a break between events for the water to recede. ...
  • ‘Imminent’ flooding spurs evacuation orders ...
  • Floods kill more than any other natural disaster ...
  • California contends with ‘weather whiplash’ ...
  • 8.3 feet of snow … and counting ..."

This the same weather system that is hitting California. One day after it hits California it is here. I am looking out the window right now. And the clouds are gone, this snow will all be gone by noon today. Been a wet winter.

Where does your non linked reference use the words "global warming"?
Remember Heinlein's observation on porcine behavior?

That wet, heavy snow is so much fun to move. We're expecting rain, mix, snow, high winds up to 45 mph and temps in the low 30's. Then more mix. After that our temps drop down to 4°F by late Friday.
Break out the Zamboni.

Historical variability has long been the deniers mantra in refuting g.w. They don't stop to consider that yes, it is part of the weather pattern for that area, but fail to recognize that variability has intensified. Storms are getting stronger, droughts are more severe around the world.

"It's too soon to say whether this spate of winter storms is part of a larger climate-change-driven shift or was just the luck of the draw. But climate scientists are clear that overall, the state's weather is becoming more variable and more intense, which is a long-predicted effect of global warming."

And we have recorded something around 200 years of weather history for this part of the world. That's like the proverbial drop in the bucket.

I'm just glad that this part of Ohio isn't dealing with glaciers or a warm water inland ocean right now. It has experienced both in it's geological history.

ABSOLUTELY FALSE

Compare the top graph at this site and then expalin how co2 is so imrtant, please. Four comparisons of CMIP6 climate model predictions versus climate reality
Check the other graphs on that site and and explain why should we believe the computeer models-- all GROSSLY inaccurate.

NOAA says differently,
Those graphs are from NOAA.

Let me put it this way-- Ba-ah-ah-ah...Ba-ah-ah-ah. Perhpas that's easier for you to understand.

That last graph in red puts it in perpective. It shows the so called warming over the last century of about 1.3degK vs an abscissa that (properly)goes from 0 degK to the temp data-- a slope of 1.3 /288 = 0.45%....But the Liars on The Left always present the data with the abcissa scaled to make the slope look like 45% in order to match the slope of the [co2] curve. [co2} has increased from 280ppm to 420ppm over the last century.....That technique of cheating is like using the zoom function on a computer to make a 5'2", 289lb fatso look like a 5'9", 110lb Playboy centerfold.

So I've been keeping track of when spring comes here in the Portland metro area since the mid 00s, since I was in college. The method I use is when daphnies have bloomed and are wafting their scent up and around, onto porches etc. The earliest I'd ever charted in Portland was Feb. 9th, the latest was March 14th. This year we're not even near spring coming, for the first time in my life, because even as a child it never came this late even though I didn't have an official system. Its really really bizarre and kind of driving me crazy.
