Let me recommend highly that all of you go and see a new movie that opened this weekend called The Village. its been hyped in the news and the previews as a scary movie but it is actually something quite different. I wont say anymore so as not to spoil the story for you. However I think that many of us will find that the movie speaks to us on many levels about the whole idea of homesteading and self reliance. Its not a movie for little kids but I think many of you will appreciate its message.

Thanks for the capsule review. It has intrigued me and is at the local drive-in, so I guess I have to go now!

Thanks for posting the review. I was considering seeing it (I actually get a night away this week :haha: ) but really couldn't decide so I guess I will have to check this one out.

We saw it on opening night. It wasn't what I expected, but it's a good movie. Definately a movie by M. Night Shymalan. (director, writer, and producer of Signs and Sixth Sense)
