We had first rolling thunderstorms last night. I like to set out on the porch and watch the lightning and listen to the low roll of the thunder as they come through. The miracle is when you get up like this morning and look at the garden. everything just kind of stands up and says "howdy" Its amazing how things grow overnight. we weren't short of water either. I've heard that the lightning puts nitrogen in the air or something.

    Cool!
    I should google that.
I always heard the old timers saying that as soon as we have our first thunder storm, things will green up. Maybe they knew something and didn't tell.

i love spring in tn!! i swear the grass grew 4 inches over night. and the colors! i didn't know there were so many shades of green, that aren't seen any other time.

these spring storms also bring tornadoes sometime, so keep an eye on the weather channel!

You said it so well, TN. I like to sit out and watch the storms, too.
