The baby with the injured leg is doing fine! She didn't have any problem acclimating at all! The first day and night she got butted a bit but was nimble enough to move out of the way. No one was being really mean, just trying to be above her in the "butting order." I never knew goats sniffed butts like dogs do. She kept sniffing all their butts, and they kept sniffing hers. Her twin is in the barn so they would be a little uncertain at times who was who, which was funny to watch. I was more worried about the cold, which has been in the low twenties. But she fit righ in. And they all cuddled together to sleep under the heat lamps. I kept going out to check all night. Just wanted to share!
