    on the wagons with care. Because syrup making day is almost here. I didn't think we would ever get done cutting it the other day. Come Friday morning we kick off making syrup for the year. A lot of us around the area will get together and be making syrup, smoking up a couple of pigs, and going to have a good blue grass band playing again this year. My favorite day of the year.

    I helped my neighbor pick up cane the other day. He binds it with an old corn binder and feeds it to his cattle. Says its the best feed around.

    what kind of syrup? Im a yankee. The only syrup Im familiar with is maple
