I'm a baker for 4 schools so I wouldn't lead you guys astray. But here's a quick, easy recipe that is sure to be a hit. So..if you are cooking an entire meal and want something quick or want something to take to wherever you are going for Thanksgiving that will be a crowd pleaser try this:

I made this this past weekend and notice ...not much left...only 3 of us eating on it too! Little piggys for sure.

Cranberry Cream Bars

3/4 C sour cream
1/2 C sugar
1 cup cranberries (more if you like...or even use tart apples)
2 Tablespoons Flour
1 Egg

(That's your filling...I double it for 9.5 x 13 pan....also prefer more cranberries)

Crust:

1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Oats
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teas baking soda
1/4 T. cinnamon (heavier if you like)
6 Tablespoons Butter
3 Tablespoon Orange Juice or Rind (optional)

Alternate Topping (Dutch Crumbly Topping)
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Flour
Cinnamon to taste (I always like cinnamon)

Combine crust ingredients spread 1/2 in bottom of pan and reserve remaining for top unless you go with the Dutch Topping

Combine filling mixture and pour over crust. Top with your topping.

Bake for 50 minutes at 325.
