Test Tubes for Colostrum collecting???

    Where do you get test tubes and what kind??

    My vet sells me the plain, red topped tubes (no preservatives) for .30 each.

    You could also try E-bay. Another thought would be to google a search for lab or science equipment.

    Someone I know orders the small glass jars/containers for making cosmetics and uses those to collect and puts in the freezer.

    Thanks I was thinking somewhere in the past someone said they got them locally but couldn't remember where.

    question- if the colostrum is negetive does this mean your doe is totally negetive? is this a alternative to having blood drawn?thanks

    Yes it is an alternative and there was other discussion on this site regarding CAE
    Oh and from what I have read there is no real tried and true method of testing so don't go by just one test if you get a positive result.
