How does this one look to you? When using one, does it mater what fiber you use? What I mean is, can you mix wool, silk, and others or should you stick to one? Or does that depend on what you want from the final product?

The customer service was awesome. Shipping was fast. I went with these because I could not find anyone saying anything bad about them and they frequently were at the top of the list on threads about "what kind of hackle and comb should I buy." How's that for scientific research? :cute:

Somewhere WIHH put together a nice post on using hackles. I'm a novice and have only played with wool on them, so I'm sure there are others who could give you better advice.
