• If your primary ethnic identity is "American," take one step forward.
• If you were ever called names because of your race, class, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation, take one step back.

I agree about it being grooming and indoctrinating for something but I don't see it having anything at all to do with grooming for socialism or any other kind of political ideology.

It appears to me that it's all an attempt to brainwash everyone, regardless of their status, into believing that all humans are all losers, that they always have been and always will be.

Going by the criteria listed there are no exceptions, it means absolutely everyone is held back and nobody will ever be able to advance forward and prove their worth because of their or their family's or ancestors' circumstances.

If the ideology of everyone being losers is being taught to young people then it's insidious and dangerous, that's for sure, but it also seems pointless, purposeless, unless somebody is hoping to raise up a hive-mind army of empty headed zombies with no will power and no intellect, no sense of self.

I don't see how any mature adult with half a brain in their head could not recognize it as attempted brainwashing and programming of all young people to believe they are all worthless losers if they don't go along with the hive-mind.

It's like when a religious cult is programming people into becoming extreme fanatical believers and followers of some ideology that they think is superior to them and can save them from themselves.

There's no winners in this scenario, everybody is a loser.

If there intentions were innocent you would be right, but they aren't. After they have them indoctrinated the second stage of the process will kick in. The SOLUTION to the problem that they have convinced these children they have. These people are not stupid, they and their handlers are playing the long game. They are going after the next generation. The average American doesn't think ahead any further than his or her next paycheck. It never occurs to John Q citizen that someone is planning ahead and shaping the world their children will live in.

I wouldn't try to argue your point, just because of who you are and where you live and what your values (apparently) are, and because this Walk of Privilege stuff is something that's happening in your country, not in mine or other countries, so you would know more about it anyway. But I think that people who can only see something they dislike as something to blame on socialism, or collectivism, or serfdom (or religions, or race, or gender, or political affiliation, etc.) are people who believe that because they have been programmed to believe it and to fear it.

It's a cult of programming and de-programming and re-programming.

Did you ever see the futuristic movie "A Clockwork Orange"? This Walk of Privilege programming makes me think of that story, although the Walk of Privilege programming is not as physically violent and blatant, it's still just as insidious and dangerous as the de-programming and re-programming that happened in the Clockwork Orange story.

I don't know what that has to do with this thread, but yes, I said I love my Queen (meaning Elizabeth II) as much as I love my mother, and that's the truth. I did not say I love Elizabeth more than I love my mother. Elizabeth II has proven herself to be not only lovable, she has proven herself to be the very best and most globally progressive and influential monarch of all in global history anywhere in the world, bar none.

However, that doesn't necessarily mean that when Elizabeth is gone that I will respect or love her successor. Her successor, whoever that turns out to be, will have to prove their self to me as a monarch worthy of my respect, high regard and love.

Frankly I don't believe that any successor to Elizabeth will ever be able to fill her shoes in any of her 16 monarchical realms. Therefore the possibility remains that if Elizabeth's successor is a failure in Canada's eyes then Canada might decide to take advantage of its right to choose a different monarch either from Canada or some other country to take Canada's throne, just as some of the other non-British realms may choose to do so as well. If Canada decides to choose a new monarch then personally I would prefer it to be somebody worthy of the Crown who is a true Canadian, born and raised in Canada and possessing all the same Canadian experience and values that Canada holds.
