What do sweet potatoes, winter squash, and dried beans all have in common? All need to be processed at 10 pounds pressure for 90 minutes. I never realized it before. Now I have a plan. When sweet potatoes go on sale in November I can set a few jars of beans in to fill the canner. Or a couple jars of butternut squash can be put in with jars of beans. Not pureed, chunks only. It was just something that I thought was pretty neat.
