Tonight is predicted to be our first night to freeze. Faucets are wrapped, plants are pulled up next to the house (I hope they make it), dogs are in the garaged all bedded down, DH's already making zzz's, the fireplace insert is blasting out heat and it's warm and toasty indoors. As far as I know, all my loved ones are safe. It's a good night. I have a lot to be thankful for.

Amen Country Lady - we do have a lot to be thankful for.

We already hit freezing quite aways back so we're gradually starting to get used to the cold - altho I'd rather we didn't have to.

I love that feeling. :)

yesterday was raining and 50. this morning it's snow..wind...and seems that is the week's forecast. I'm so happy it's a lazy Sunday, so my hubby is safely home. got the fire going and pumpkin bread baking. I see a little book reading in my immediate future.

and...I'M STAYING IN MY JAMMIES. hahaha my protest to winter!
