    Sun Heat Space Heater

Anyone ever had one of these? Know anything about this space heater?
Seems a bit pricey, but if it would save in the long run I might consider it.

I see their advertisement in MEN all the time and always wonder about it.

Any feedback or even opions would be great.

Aside from filtering the air first, it prob won't heat any better than a much cheaper unit and you can buy filters pretty cheap. I wouldn't waste the money on it, if it were me.

See my posting about this type of heater. It sounds good but I guess no one here has one that can say if they are all they are advertised to be. I think I would like one. Rita

It's a total gimmick. If you want a 1500 watt forced air electric heater, go to walmart and get one for under $50. A watt is a watt, the only difference is that thing thing filters the air somewhat and may blow it around the room better, but running a ceiling fan on low or a table fan will circulate air even better. A waste of $600.

If you want an efficient, safe, elect space heater, try the Honeywell oil-filled radiator type heaters for about $80-$100 each.
