Stupid white pigs aren't smart enough to stay out of the sun I don't like white feeder pigs but these guys were in the budget

I have Yorks and they do sunburn in the summer. I provide a lot of shade but they still get some sun from grazing in the fields. Its not been to bad this year. The other hogs also get sunburn if in the bright sun a lot. You just can't see the burn on the Herefords i have because of their color.

We normally get hamps to feed but I bought 6 of these as weaner pigs at auction they looked pretty rough and were small I brought them home and fed as 700 crumbles n their feed for a week and gave them 3/4 gallon of cow milk morning and night they came around pretty quick sold 2 on craigslist for what I paid for the 6 may keep a couple of the gilts to breed at the new farm in Missouri as from what I have seen feeders are high or hard to come by out there
