i have been looking on the web for some ideas on how to make a saw horse to cut small log lenths of wood into fire wood size.
i thought what I was looking for was a saw buck.
It is not a saw horse, but rather has several sets of crossed legs so it can hold the log and let one person cut with a chain saw or if ambitious a cross cut saw.
So what am I looking for? Any guesses?

I agree with Ace Much easier than lifting a big log. Why move it any more than you HAVE to?
