Strawberries the size of peaches

    I just seen some of these plants for sal. Does anyone have any experience with them??

    I have seen those ads as well. I don't know....I don't think I have ever had a huge strawberry that had any flavor to it.

    Beware of Gurney's email advertisement for them, the email offer price was higher than the catalog listed them at.

    I emailed them a big "no thanks" so perhaps they stopped sending it out.

    Well I ordered 24 plants the other day.. I guess we will see what happens... They still havent shown up yet... The ads says they are plants not seeds.

    I got an ad from Brecks. Fifty plants for $19.95. Was tempted but it said I won't get fruit til next year. Not sure if I wanna tie up that much space for that long.

    They ship out the plants according to what grower zone you are in.
    I'm in zone 6 and they told me they wouldn't ship sweet potato plants until about May 6th. When I questioned that they said they showed my zip code was in zone 5. After a little discussion they did agree to ship zone 6 time, and indicated it would be early April.

    For the seed I bought it came USPS and took 8 days.
