I like the idea. Any court case that a government agency prosecutes and looses should have to pay all the court cost, lost wages, etc. As it is the government agency and government employee have nothing to loose regardless of the results.

This is the way it works. They pass Kyle's law. The other party gets in office. They amend Kyle's law to include any other criminal act. Then DAs decide not to prosecute because if the thugs lawyer up and they lose, they will eventually go bankrupt. Too many laws already, too much hesitation to prosecute already.

Thug shoots cop , lawyer claims self defense, broke mayor tells DA don't you dare. I'm hoping it was just a joke proposition to mess with people, but you never know.

As much as we don’t like it, Kyle Rittenhouse’s case probably should have at least gone to a Grand Jury. His shooting Rosenbaum was up in the air until all the evidence came out. Huber and Grosskreutz were unquestionably good shoots, based just on the evidence immediately available, but the possibility that he instigated Rosenbaum had to be investigated.

The evidence came out, and Rittenhouse was justly exonerated, but the available video didn’t tell the full story on Rosenbaum.
