Anyone know where to find charts of weights and measures for agriculture products? I am looking for the standard weight for such as, Potatoes.......? lbs. per bu. Beans...........? lbs. " " Fruits, etc. thanks,........margo

I used to have a list of weights for 5-gallon buckets and 5-lb coffee cans. I thought that was the most useful thing! I don't kwow where it went, but I pretty much know for the things I use the most. Jena

I hope this helps you. I found this on a calendar we get from the feed store. potatoes...60 lbs per bushel white beans...60 lbs per bushel onions...57 lbs per bushel peas...60 lbs per bushel turnips...55 lbs per bushel corn, in ear...70 lbs per bushel sweet potato...55 lbs per bushel the only thing I found for fruit is for dried apples, dried...26 lbs per bushel peaches, dried...33 lbs per bushel

Thank you, thank you. I have searched for quite a while but couldn't find any thing like that. I had an almanac years ago but, alas, threw it away,it had info in it. That was long before I ever knew I'd be interested. Thanks all for your replies.....Margo
