I did not get my garlic planted last fall due to illness. Still have the sets. Should I plant them this spring? Zone 4, almost 5

    Margene,

Similar thing happened to me last year in Western PA. I planted when there were a few warm days (probably about this time of year) and things came out fine.

Now would be perfect time in the PNW. Also, if they were hardneck varieties, many of those may not last until true spring. So, plant them now while you can get into the garden.
