They are all preggers....it is disgusting as who ever is doing it is getting it on some of the other does :grump: . Yuck....think this is something to worry about or just let it be as they are preggers and might have softer stools.

I am not real worried about it but am still like do they HAVE to get it ON the does :flame: :grump: ...YUCKY YUCKY YUCKY!

MC, check there tails, and you should see the poop on it. I would give this doe
Dannon plain yogurt and check for worms also.

It's usually due to worms or a feed change. I notice this if the weather changes. The feed is the same, but my does eating pattern changes, especially if the weather is such that they don't want to stand outside and eat their hay for very long. I'd check under the tails to see who it is and give either plain yogurt or Probios. Watch also to be sure everyone is eatinf OK. If they are, it generally isn't anything to worry about.

Everybody is eating just fine and there is no changes in feed. Nobody looks like they need worming....they are all eating machines right now. The funny thing is I have been checking tails trying my darndest to see who is doing it and haven't found one gooky tail  :help: . I swear these girls are TRYING to make me go bonkers :flame: .

Chicken cocci is species spicific just like goat cocci. Now chickens can carry cocci on their feet from pen to pen, and CL pus etcc...so with dogs, cats or chickens you don't truly have a quaranteen pen :) I would do a fecal on the pen the poop is coming from. Vicki

I know chickens can carry cocci but I am pretty sure it is limited to its own species....you know what I mean? Plus these are adults we are talking about not kids.

So far no more soft stool....maybe the chickens where pooping on them?
