Has anyone used one? Im putting some pigs in a remote area without any electricity and this sounds like a good solution. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks,

We thought about it, but a) they were expensive and b) I was a little concerned about reliability. We got a battery-powered charger instead and just keep an extra battery charged and ready.

Very interesting! How long do they last on average? What brand do you have?

Only opt for the 12 volt version. I have a ParMak for doing partition fencing and thus far (8 Months) it have been great and the output is terrific. It has a 2 year warranty

All I know is my ParMak 6 Volt hammers the heck out of me when I forget it's on! I use it for my garden and I can actually reap the rewards of it. Before all the creatures would eat everything, I mean everything. I would not be to concerned using it for pigs, I've thought about putting in some small pigs to do the fertilize deal. 12 Volt would be better I'm sure.
