Bleach solution?
With all this talk about Ebola, âtheyâ say to clean with a bleach solution wiping down surfaces per current protocols.
So I ask how to make homemade chlorine bleach solution?
5% bleach in water. Ok
So I ask how to make homemade chlorine/ bleach
It may be beyond my skills, not being a chemist.
But I did run in to the idea of using powder bleach from the pools, in a SHTF world there may be less people going to swim, so maybe some leftover bleach.
I know about adding 8 drops of household liquid bleach to 1 gallon of water (the recommended amount when disinfecting water with household bleach)
A website called (tacticalintelligence.net) had some good sounding ideas.

To make a chlorine bleach solution using calcium hypochlorite, there are some formulas from the Army Technical Bulletin entitled,
âSANITARY CONTROL AND SURVEILLANCE OF FIELD WATER SUPPLIESâ (TB MED 577).
From these guys the powder bleach from the pools last for years and cleans more water for less.
