Our 5 month old goat is blowing snot and sounds congested in her chest. Her temp in normal(104.6) and she ate her food, but she did not come for food like normal she stood out in the yard until I came to get her and put her in a pen, she also looks dazed...
Anyone have any ideas as to what this might be???

    Thanks,
    Steph

I agree. If you don't have any antibiotics available, get her to the vet tomorrow, by Monday she may be very, very ill. We have been having crazy weather here in Texas, it sure doesn't help....and it is supposed to rain Sunday with the cool front blowing in.

We are very lucky... I have a friend who is a vet and also has dairy goats, I got a hold of her late last night and will be picking up some Excenel (antibiotic) in just a few minutes for our sweet baby...
    Thank you all!!

Great! There are very few vets that i know of who know anything about goats and you have one that is not only a friend but also raises goats! Good luck!

For pneumonia, should I use penicillin or duramycin? Thanks
