All my Ramboullet rams have large, beautiful, spiral handles. Great for roping if you need to work with them. One young male's horns are small, shriveled and curled-up. Otherwise he is very healthy and very strong. He is big even for a Ramboullet. Any ideas what happened?

I am assuming that this rams horns never came in like the other rams you have. I believe they call it scuff, not a polled ram. but just having a bit of a rather thin, short horns. Shetlands can have rams that have the same type of horns or are polled, not sure about other breeds, so nothing may have happened. May be genetics, and of you like the horns, or they are a desired trait you would not breed such a ram.
