I want to get lettering put on the side of my trailer to help advertise my business.

If I saw a trailer (even a really small one) going down the road with "meat and poultry" on it, I would think it was a wholesale type of deal and not available to me as an individual.

I am available to individuals and I want to make that clear. Any one got any ideas on what I could put on there so that someone seeing it would take the number down and call?

    Thanks
    Jena

    Ideas along the lines of

    "Retail AND wholesale ..."

    "Buy direct ..."

"From our farm to your kitchen ..."

    Good luck

    I like Ann's idea.

"From our farm to your kitchen. Wholesale to the public. 1-800-555-FOOD"

  6. I think that number was given simply as an example ... not a real number. :)

"Our meat cutters cut out the middle man"

"High quality USDA inspected beef and poultry direct"

"To price or order call 1-800-BUY-BEEF" (Only if you can work your numbers into that example.
    "You'll be pleased you did."

If you typically sell well below local retail prices I would emphasize that.

"You can't beat my meat. Back door delivery available." :haha:

You could just have a line that says, "Delivered to your home or business."

Have you come up with a name for your business? Like,, several years ago..for my massage business.. "Kneaded Relief Massage". I know from experience.. when Advertising... the less letters and the more direct, the better!!

    Umm.. let's see:
    Healthy Home Meats
    Platters of Pure Poultry
    Farm-to-Plate Meats

Okay, the last two really suck. But you get my drift, right?

  11. There were some amish people that got in trouble years ago in my area. They were selling dressed chickens to the public without the proper paperwork, etc.
Hope you are legal so you don't have any grief from your venture.
    Just trying to help.......

Thanks for the ideas....well...most of them :)

I will not put anything about beating meat! People might think I'm treating my cows badly!
