should walking onions be visible now? z5

    I don't see them yet. Planted last spring and were nice and big plants last summer and I laid them down where I wanted them to walk.

    Yes, they should be both visible and well along for growth. By that, I mean 4 or 5 inches here as of today just from topsets which were simply laying on the ground. If you don't even see them laying there, something or someone removed them since I don't think that anything could kill them!

    How often and what type of fertilizer would you put to the onions ? Mr . Martin maybe I'm over anxious, but my onions are green top but don't seem to be growing :shrug:
