Shelling purple hull peas

    How do you get the purple off your fingers? I have scrubbed them with a soapy rag and even tried fingernail pollish remover. The dye is still there. Any way to get it to come off besides it wearing off?

    LOL I haven't tried growing purple hull peas. They're very popular down here though. This reminds me of harvesting the walnuts we have. Yellow hands for 2 weeks! Look on the bright side, purple is a lovely color :D

    well a lot of people don't do this but i use bleach for 5 seconds it removes everything then rinse your hands with water well and rinse your hands with peroxcide (draws remaining bleach out) this wash woth soap and water. hope this helps.
