How many of you use sheep mineral for goats instead of regular goat minerals?
I've read that using sheep mineral is bad for goats because of it doesn't contain enough copper. Me I use another brand of mineral not anything to do with sheep.

I use goat minerals, from te research I've done, sheep make their own copper so their minerals do not contain it. Goat minerals can be toxic to sheep.
1 very strong vote for goat minerals!

You need to use a loose dairy cow/horse/or goat mineral where you get good selenium and copper. never use sheep mineral not enough copper for goats.

We use loose horse mineral (Kent or Equine Merit brand) as it has enough copper and they goats love it. I've tried some goat minerals the goats won't even touch.
