Sewing cloth diapers.

I have been using cloth diapers for a while now and just started sewing my own for my son. I did not want to spend anymore money on new ones and decided to use flannel and old t-shirts to make some for him. I got the pattern for free online and most of the fabric is stuff that I already have here at home, I just had to buy elastic, velcro, and thread. I am just making him fitted ones right now.

Does anyone else on here use or sew cloth diapers?? Any tips on sewing them??

I was the original owner and creator of the The Baby Blanket pocket diapers. I sold the business when it got to be way busier than this homeschooling Mama could handle :D. Needless to say I LOVE making cloth diapers and I have a HUGE stash of diaper fabric that is really more obnoxious than anything . When I sold the business I kept all the supplies and the right to make my pattern for my own children. I have more PUL, Fleece, Micro, ect than I could ever use and the sad part is I am still buying more through co-ops. It is like an addiction. I guess it's a good thing the Lord keeps blessing us with babies ;-).

What kind of closure are you using? I highly recommend Aplix the velcro you buy in fabric stores is way to stiff for my taste.

Happy diaper sewing but be forewarned it is very addicting :D
