separating aloe plants?

    miss corky gave me some aloe plants and they need to be separated. can someone give me an idea of what i need to do.

    If they are in a container, simply slip your hand shovel between the "baby" and the larger plant and cut the root connection. Back in CA, I had many aloe plants that reproduced like wildfire....wish I had known how much they cost out here before I threw so many away. ha ha The babies were choaking out my main plant. but I digress...
    Aloe are very hardy, unless you chop off all the root to the baby....you really can't hurt it. Hope this helps
