I've gotten a few toy catalogs (seed catalogs) in the mail. Anybody know what a Hybird seed is?? Aren't those the GMO things? I definately don't want those and will toss the catalogs if that's what's there. I'm looking for heirloom and organics.
Hybrids are not GMOs. A hybrid can be created merely by crossing the pollen and eggs of two different varieties of tomatoes. Most of the veggie seeds you see in mainstream cataloges today are hybrids. GMO seeds must be labeled as such.
