I've just finished clearing up a place to put a bee yard and am ready to move the bees. The problem is that just after I finished mowing the area, I realized that there is a security light (street light type) over the area that comes on at dark.

I'm afraid that the light will confuse or otherwise adversely affect the bees, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this?

I'd say with 99% certainty that it won't have any affect at all

It will make them crow all night.

I have 12 hives under the light now, and so far no problems. Looks like you were right. Thanks

Fortunately, there are no close neighbors, so no one has complained about the crowing.
