To be fair, you're comparing the last model of iPhone to the newest Note. You're comparing apples and oranges...
My wife has the ipuke 6plus, and thoughts remain the same ;)
A little humor for you all. :D:D

BTW, the Samsungs are nice - but I love using my Nexus 4 (and my wife has a Nexus 5). I enjoy them for the "vanilla" android/pure android experience. Plus they are fun to tweak/mess around with. :)

The Nexus uses WIN doesn't it? Instead of Android? I seem to remember having issues with them when the HST app is used.
No the nexus uses android as it is a google device and google puts the latest android software on the nexus first (since it is a "pure" android experience, no skins or tweaks like other android devices - - unless one is to buy google play edition devices offered at https://play.google.com/store/devices ). Other phones/tablets have to wait until the respective manufacturer releases the update for the new versions of android. I'm currently running 4.4.4 kitkat and android 5 (lollipop) is going to start being available November 3. If I get impatient waiting for the OTA update, then I'll just download it from google and do a quick install.

Now if someone is a big ubuntu fan, there is a version of ubuntu that will work on the nexus devices. Info on it is here http://developer.ubuntu.com/start/ubuntu-for-devices/installing-ubuntu-for-devices/ and there are also directions online for doing a dual boot of both android and ubuntu. :)

For info on the latest nexus devices here is a quick link to the nexus 6 https://www.google.com/nexus/6/ and there are links there to the nexus 9 and nexus 5 as well.

I have one. love it. I have a cover and believe it or not it took only 8 days for my kids to smash the screen. I now have shards of glass in my fingers. Dh was attempting to give me a gift cause I have been dealing with my broken I pod for 3 years. sigh. I get nothing nice.

I have an original Note and love it. My eyes bugged out when I saw the clarity of display which was unique a few years ago. Since I do a LOT of reading on my phone, I like the slightly wider screen better than the taller but narrower later models. I read books and newspapers easily on my phone, am able to check facts on wikipedia etc without eyestrain, and it takes great pictures. Enjoy your new gadget!
