The sprocket on my 116SI saw is worn out and try as I may, I can't get it off to put the new one one. The owners manual is no help as it just says to change it frequently, but gives no directions in doing so. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't get the nut off due to the engine turning over when you try to loosen it I can tell you what to do. Remove the spark plug and put a piece of soft rope into the plug hole. This will stop the piston from coming up without damaging it. Then you should be able to get the nut off and remove the sprocket. I don't have a Sachs Dolmar but I assume they are all pretty similar.
