Hi All,
I'm only a month or two away from taking delivery of a sawmill so I'm starting to think about how I'm going to load logs on it. Fortunately I have a skidsteer (New Holland, 60hp). I've been looking online at grapples and came across the Quick Attach brand Quick Claw. It's construction seems to be top notch and the way it's built also makes it useful for raking and leveling. It also appears to be the most expensive grapple out there.

Anyone have experience with a grapple they'd like to share? Happy with it? Wish you had bought something else?

Thanks.

I have loaded a lot of logs on to the deck of a sawmill, with nothing more fancy than a manure scoop on an old Farmall H tractor. Don't spend thousands of dollars, for a ten dollar job. A set of pallet forks on your skid steer will move a lot of logs.
