I just joined the other day and have gotten rid of a ton of things that I haven't used and that have been sitting around gathering dust and chicken feathers. It's a great thing.

I joined last fall and I just love it. Not only have I given away a lot of surplus farm goods I have received so many nice things. Not to mention a couple of people that I now keep in touch with. So far I haven't had a bad experience with anyone. If I am not sure about meeting a person I make arangements to meet in a well known parking lot (grocery store, mall, or such). Happy hunting to everyone who joins. Word of caution: Just becareful that you give more than you receive or your house will get even more cluttered. LOL... :haha:

Freecycle just came to southren Nova Scotia and is growing fast!! It is such a great way to get rid of things you don't need by giving to someone who does need them. And best of all there is no sales tax because there is no selling! I love it!
