Hi all, well I’m seeking advice on what books you all think are good for someone looking for books on heirlooms that is not to expensive. I love reading about the history of vegetables. You know ,where they originally came from, how did they get here, who are they named after? That sort of thing.

Here’s the deal. I am ordering Carolyn Male book “100 Heirloom Tomatoes for the American Garden” from Amazon and I need another book that will allow me to use their free shipping offer for purchases over $25.00. Her book is $12.21. So I need a book that is at least over $13.00. I can afford to go a little over the $30.00 for both.

Any help is greatly appreciated .
    Thanks Nan.

"Seeds of Change" which is about the importance of heirloom genetics and has quite a few interesting "where it came from" stories. Don't know the author as I have it lent out right now.

Thanks Anna. Looks like that particular book is in the UK only.
