Anyone have input on good raspberry varieties? I am interested in high-yield, primarily. Also, anyone have an opinion on summer-bearing v. fall-bearing?

    Thanks!

I had Red Latham raspberries for years. They were very hardy, zone 4 close to 3, and they seemed to be pretty much disease resistant. The harvest was consistently good, and the berries were firm and sweet.

Caroline and Autumn Britten do well here. Both are "everbearing", but you can choose to cut them to set only at one time of the year. We grow them to stretch over both seasons. You might consult your ag. agent to find what grows well where you are. They were a huge help in selecting our blueberries.
