Does anyone have a meat processor here in Indiana to recommend? I have a sheep (or two) that's ready to go to "freezer camp", but wondered where to take them. Maybe some day I'll be ready to do the job myself, but for now I'd gladly pay someone to take care of it for me. Any suggestions? I live in the Indianapolis area.

    ajaxlucy,

A friend of mine who raised sheep always took them to Noblesville to be processed. I don't remember the name of the processor, but they did a fine job.

I hear that Archers in Greenwood is a good place to have animals processed. Also a place in Boggstown in Shelby County. There is also a guy in Franklin that has hundreds and hundreds of sheep, and sells meat to high end restaraunts. I can give you his name if you pm me.

There is a local locker in Batesville that does sheep & goats.
