Raising Sweetpotatos

    The most important thing is to put them in a place with good ventilation which will stop them rotting over winter. Then plant them in Spring at a 45 degree angle, with one third above ground. Go easy on the Nitrogen, because too much will give you just lots of leaves.
    I just put mine in (Spring down here) this week, in fact.

    May I suggest you wait until spring and get bigger sweet potatoes to plant. Small ones will yield small ones.
