TOTALLY new to the rabbit world! Bred our rex on June 28th - she acted really weird from 14 days on and is still really skittish 32 days later - looks a little round, but can't feel anything - but being new, I expect as much. My loving children decided she was "lonely" and put the buck in with her again today and she was very receptive and let him breed her three times within 10 minutes. When we bred her on the 28th, she was gotten 6 times - twice the first time and four times about 12 hours later.

Is it possible she's still pregnant (if she ever was) if she is letting the buck breed her? And if she is, WHEN is she going to have those babies????

Oh...when I tried to test breed her at 14 days, she just growled at the buck. Didn't this time.....

Thanks for any input!! :D

Sometimes a doe will let a buck breed her when she is already pregnant. A friend had a doe that was bred, but escaped from her cage. The buck was out too so he could hop around while they cleaned out his cage. Anyway, he bred her. A week later, she had her kits, and then another week later she had 12 more tiny ones. The 12 were dead but the first litter was alright. Maybe that won't happen. Make sure she has a nestbox just incase.

Make sure she has a nestbox right now. If she hasn't kindled by the 35th day, August 2nd, try to rebreed her. I'd put a nestbox back in 28 days from today, August 28th, just in case the breeding today took. Then put a nestbox in again 28 days from the 8/2 breeding, if you don't have any kits from the 1st 2 breedings. I hope this makes sense. I know it sounds really confusing.
If after all this you don't get kits, I'd consider culling her (unless, of course, she's a pet).
Good luck

Thank you - she is a pet. I'm just frustrated - worse than when I'm wondering if I'm pregnant. At least that only lasts a few days and then I know for sure. They need to make an EPT test for bunnies!! Wonder if I got a stick for her if she'd pee on it??? lol...?
