    Howdy - need a second opinon(s) here.
We are still pretty cool in these parts - 26 degrees at the moment - but I have some of my beds turned and ready and I have the itch. Our frost free-ish date is the 15th of June but here's what I'm wanting to do:
    1. asparagus - it's been suggested I wait on these - yes? no?
    2. strawberries - should be ok, yes? these are bundles of pretty dried out looking jobs - not potted individual plants - straw to cover them
    3. onions - should be ok, yes? will put straw and waste goat hay over them
    4. cabbage - should be ok, yes? these are pretty heathy starts that have been subjected to temps of 35 ~40 degrees nightly - will cover them with straw
    5. potatoes - should be ok, yes? same straw plan with them as above

Opinions? I'd sure like to get some of these in the ground today but don't want to shoot myself in the foot. I'll check back in a bit and see what the word is.
    Thanx.
