We just got our smoked ham back today and I'm wondering the best way to store it. Should I wrap it and freeze it or just hang it? Can I cut it down into smaller portions? Any advise would be much appreciated.

We always freeze the hams. Yes you can cut it down beforehand, just make sure when you wrap it you use good quality paper, double wrap doesn't hurt. Pork doesn't keep as well as other meats in the freezer, best used within 6 months IMO.

I'm going to have problems eating all this pork in just 6 months! Guess I'll be passing food on to the kids. Thanks for the info, I wasn't quite sure what to do with it.

If it is Hot smoked it MUST be frozen. Cold smoked ham can hang indefinatly (and actually improves with age).
